The thing that makes the Shynola site so pretentious is the fact that they have made such a concerted effort to make it look as bad as it does. It really just says "we don't take ourselves too seriously.....erm, actually we do and that's why our website is so painfully self-conscious"
They don't want their videos to look rubbish, so I can't really see why they bother being ironic about with their website.
