  in terms of hangouts in DUMBO. is ZAKKA a japanese bookstore/ giant robot toy shop. they specialize in graphic books targeted at designers.

  check out the site.. goto the store.. the books they have are usually the only copies they will ever have.. or in any other shop for that matter.. so if you see something you better grab it because it will be gone in seconds..

  there is a few other skate/ sneaker/ record/ dj shops around the block over there.. you can see DUMBO in a few minutes, it is rather small in size.. so finding a good hangout can easily be found..
