Well, I see that you're working as a temp, and no offense, all I can say is, you're a temp and not one of their employees.
You are expendable.As for doing something in the office while the others are at the party, that is kind of rude.
But temps don't usually get invited to office functions.I've been a temp before and I know that both companies I temped at don't treat temps like employees. They don't owe you anything but a place to get a paycheck.
