Steve kaiser kits vs profoto is like yugo vs rolls royce.... there is a lot in between
Before you buy a lot of stuff... think about your environment... is the studio space large or small ... are you shooting tabletop artwork and products or head tp toe models on a pure white sweep?
Need more info ... but I can give you very specific advice
For shooting artwork on a tabletop results are much more dependant on light modifiers and placement and angles thsn brand of lights
For any critical color work I highly recommend using an xrite macbeth color checker and resjoot a test shot evrry time you change lighting so you can batch correct your color balance in post...
