  Hey peoples who are having a problem with being stuck on restore. I was too and this just worked for me. Make sure you have already downloaded the software and backed up the phone.

  1. Restore to factory settings in itunes. It will automatically restore it too iOS 5 since it was downloaded.
  2. Pick the backup after the restore and your done.
