  sorry, maybe I'm being a bit confusing.
  Your solution makes the div scroll independently of the rest of the page... that's not what I need.

  What I need is like having an div with absolute positioning bottom 0, left 0. but that will stay at the bottom when I scroll vertically.
  It should scroll horizontally with the rest of the site, not independently.
