  MS: "Alright, maybe we'll take a risk and really try to change the same old UI we have interacted with on a PC for decades. We'll start slow, but push new ideas."

  Consumers: "Booo!! Why are you trying to change it? We like it the way it is."

  • I would consider the slow part to be both Ribbon UI and Metro being an overlay option to Win 8.ETM
