You're fucking kidding me. "NOW doing the bidding"? What the fuck did Bush I do in 1991? Protected Saudi Arabia. Then his dipshit son took out Iraq proper leaving Iran without an enemy to worry about.
And the only reason we got stuck with the asshats in Saudi Arabia was because the CIA under Eisenhower had to kill an actual democratic government in Iran to install the Shah and support one of the most evil secret police forces SAVAK. The Shah double crossed us with OPEC and a insane weapons deal and then his corruption led to his overthrow and the current little problem we have with Iranian fueled terrorism.
