the reaction to ron paul talking about 9/11 was almost as horrifying as the audience saying "yes let him die!" about insurance. these are the same nutjobs that wanted to burn down the white house over terry schaivo.

the entire american political process is now disheartening - not just the tea party. the first ten minutes of the debate was wolf blitzer on a stage that looked like a cross between american idol, survivor and the nba finals. introducing the candidates, loving freedom and never hitting any actual points is not a debate, it's showmanship. the networks who orchestrate these want ratings, and they're disowning journalism in the process.

having w in office was bad enough. but the fallout from him lowers the standards that much more, and this is what happens because dumb wasn't dumb enough.

    • I kinda agree, the questions were staged and not really to the point.

    • On the people booing or let him die is because they're fed up with freeloaders.

    • they felt you should die if you don't make an effort for personal responsibility. A libertarian crowd so it seemed.
