I thought it was interesting as well. I chilled at the office until around 7pm, we had some drinks here then went to a farmers market across the street.
There was a lady selling tamales and everyone was freaking out like it was the end of the world... they were running out of tamales with about 9 left and limited the sale to 1 per person.
this lady in line goes: "oh my god they're running out! how am I gonna feed my daughter!!!!!!!!!" lol!
I was bustin up.
keep in mind i work in a business area that has mostly wealthy white people... all the sudden the people buying tamales are like"muchas gracias seniora, si si oh muchas gracias!!!"
I'm like really? oh yea? now you got love? now you know Spanish??? fucking comedy.
seriously an interesting experience.
after that i went home and went to sleep early, fuck it.
