About a year and a half ago, I was offered a job at one of the big network agencies in Dubai, and I eventually turned it down because I didn't want to have to deal with Utopian's list of Dos and Don'ts. That was the big thing.
The second thing was that the salary was precisely what I'd been previously earning in Europe, just tax-free. I'd been expecting significantly more.
Thirdly – no matter how much I tried – they wouldn't even negotiate on any level. Neither salary nor accommodation (which wasn't offered).
