It's unpredictable that's why ISSUU do their thing. There used to be an advert-funded version that was still excellent. Clients loved it, but always asked how to remove the ads when shown it - and all paid.
If it's a small number then just make the image. I love pdf but it doesn't play friendly at other people's houses.
