lived in williamsburg, prospect/crown heights and greenpoint. greenpoint is my favorite by far. unless you're living on the banks of the creek, toxicity is not an issue like people make it out to be. tap water comes from upstate same as all of NYC's supply. you can get way more space for your $ and if you stay in south GP you're a 10 minute walk away from the L and all the bars/venues in williamsburg. talk to Proper Realty on Leonard/Nassau.
