^ Agree 100%, but replace Obama with "the Democratic party." If Hillary or Edwards had been elected they would have governed the same way.
Basically at some point in the past couple decades, the Democrats decided they could adopt conservative economic policies and still get elected. Appease the same corporate interests as the Republicans but try to differentiate themselves on the social issues.
All the more laughable when people refer to Obama as a socialist. What has he really done that is so left wing? Most drastic thing he has advocated for economically is to raise the upper income bracket by a few percentage points.
- what merits or principles do democrats stand for? what is the difference between dem/reps u think********
- is the only difference in who backs corporate interest vs mob interests. both function the same. gain at cost of another********
- to me both function the same with different demographs. and incentives seems to be to give to both sides at cost of everyone unknowing********
- everyone unknoingly or to keepo them focused on there gaisn and blame alt party for losses but both function the same********
- same way.********
