    ^ true it would seem as thought keeping the subject at constant will create DOF objects at constant. Length of the lens determines how close the DOF objects are in the frame.

    But I think that he is only focusing on the tower and seeing how blurry it is. The DOF does change with objects not in infinite.

    Additionally, the DOF is based on not two points but multiples of points with the frame distance. Also need to consider the performance of the camera and lens. If the camera was a better camera with superior sensor and lens being much sharper, would it make a difference?

    I find this article quite confusing.

    This would make a great article on how length of lens can change perspective of subjects and objects in distance.
