Hahhaaaahhaa!!! I hope I am feeling your sarcasm!
I'll agree with your last part. Apple is the most monopolistic megalomaniac driven company that has existed in a long time. That has its pros (clear vision, incredible refinement, etc.) but it also destroys anything it sees as outside of their vision [at the expense of the user], which is Adobe at this point.
