  I find that a designer with a strong portfolio and bad client work may have communication issues overall.

  They may also just have impossible clients.

  But communicating your ideas and proving them feasible is a huge part of the game.

  Maybe this article implies that designers are not communicating fully.

  • A lot of (agency) designers don't get near the client. And a client in the real world is often a dozen people.plausible
