I had good experience with 2 recruiters years ago, one I went to art school with got me a gig at an great agency, I had no idea how lucky I was at that gig till I left for so-called greener pastures and more pay and found a much less creative environment....
Key seems to be a good recruiter wants to find a place you'll really fit well with, not just get the commission fast....
