was just down the street from me... i was coming home from the tesco in hackney when it started, got caught in a crowd running, with my bike and all... the evening felt like the end of the world what with the choppers and sirens everywhere and the smell of smoke... had a flight to NYC this morning and no cabs would come to pick me up... made it but was proper horrible scenes last night... hope it gets better... really ugly stuff, and yeah fuck knows what the government's gonna do....marginalise them more.
