"Don't, man. Nobody likes Americans. I bet more people around the world like Canadians, better." - eloosive, if your ashamed of being American your a bit confused. There is no reason to associate government foreign policy with being an American citizen. Either your a kid or have no foreign travelling experience. I assure you that everyone doesn't hate Americans. It's true, the fact that your average American tends to ignore other cultures. I guess you could say that is a problem, but that is a byproduct of US' success as a society, just the same as obesity, etc. is. However, with that being said, that doesn't mean it's good. :)
