    ensure you dont have duplicate page titles

    check page titles begin with a unique keyword for each page

    check page titles are under 70 characters in length

    check meta descriptions are unique

    check meta descriptions contain powerful sales messages unique to each page

    check meta descriptions are under 155 characters

    check first link rule for all key pages

    use image replacement on logo (usually the first link back to the home page in the code) and make sure this has the main keyword in it plus brand i.e. "wool socks by sockomart"

    check all images have alt attributes

    use www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spid…... to check first link anchors for all pages

    remove site-wide links to pages like login, privacy policy, terms and conditions, view basket, checkout, forgotten password and hide in javascript

    remove any external links from the site especially the home page. if the site has facebook etc links then hide these in javascript

    check google webmaster tools for links to old pages (404) and set 301 redirects to currently valid pages

    impliment google conversion tracking

    impliment crazyegg

    push rss feeds through feedburner

    ensure no pages have light content (under 300 words) nd rewrite the ones that do

    check bucket pages and ensure these have fewer links on them than other pages

    check site-wide content for internal linking opportunities to deep pages

    make sure theres a link to the home page from every page

    check for canonical issues and fix

    check all images and ensure theyre optimised
