Ok, I've got a good one.
1) buy some fishing wire and some metal washers and fishing weights, some ziplock bags and a waterproof container.
2) put the item inside a ziplock bag, and that inside the waterproof container
3) attach that to one end of the fishing wire
4) attached a metal washer to the other end
5) drive out to the lake or if there is a pond nearby
6) toss the item out into the water and then carefully bury the fishing wire and washer deep in the dirt.when you or your accomplice are ready to retrieve the hidden item, come back with a metal detector to find the location of the washer, and reclaim your item.
3)
