Where is it registered? Dropcatching services have connections with registrars. E.g. If the registrar is Enom, you will catch it with Namejet, Godaddy catches their own etc. Check the registrar and google where to backorder.
Don't count on the domain being free for registration, it'll likely go to an auction before that.
