  Did you get paid? Are you charging to the consultation?

  I'd add a little more onto the next project for headaches and chalk it up to "cash flow". Forget being attached, some people just don't want help and don't see value in things being done correctly (at least not all the time).

  • and not every project has to be portfolio quality, sometimes getting the cash is just as important (and keeping your client happy)formed
