Honestly, I think no-one knows. The last decade was a testing ground really... I'm not sure history is going to repeat itself.
Sure people are fickle, though the dust is settling. Sites like Facebook just aren't going to crash and burn anymore like, even if there is some new kid on the block.
That said, I really don't like the idea of having Google: mail, calendar, address book, docs, search, phone, browser, social networking, laptop, photos etc etc etc etc. That to me sounds like a locked-in ecosystem that Boz so fervently rants on about when it comes to Apple.
