You don't need an invite... just share a link with a friend... Here is the hack:
Trying the Jenny-hack for Google+ Invites: By posting/sharing a link to a "Circle" (you have to define it first by adding friends), they get an email with the link and a "Learn more about Google+" button that when clicked, takes you through the signup.. Did/does it work? (May have to try a few times.. Google is limiting the access!)
