Dell is basically more expensive than Apple because it's a better , more featured monitor. You can get it for $999 you just have to look for coupons.
It's better because it can swivel, rotate, slide up/down, has USB ports, SD card ports etc etc and the PQ is just astonishing.
I want to sell all my monitors including the 30" one and replace it with 3 27" Dells. They are much nicer to work on due to a bit smaller form factor. 27" at 2560 resolution is a winner.
