100% agreement with vaxorcist. I hate big egos, just can't work with people like that. I had a freelancer come in to our place once. He didn't do any of the work we told him to do (which was finish off a pitch doc for a development in the far east). He instead spent the whole day redesigining the logo which we'd already signed off...
His excuse was that his logo blew the rest of them out the water...
We didn't get him in again.
