im glad to see that some people knew where i was going, and blackspade for being a champ and not flying off the handle (like some people did)
sure if you feel using a graff style layout is relevant and coherant in the context of the job > go for it, but do it right, know what can do, if you cant write, hook up with a dope writer, dont try and rely on people in a message board to hook you up, if you havent got the tools rethink the approach, because people will know if its faked.
i find nothing wrong with what your doing, but i just think everything should be thoroughly thought about, just because its highschool kids, doesnt mean it HAS to be graffiti styled, that shits been peddled for ages.
and as for 'marketing' FUCK IT. if all these people with totally different jobs are doing the same thing (ie, food companies, tampon companies) then it is obviously NOT being used in a correct context, two different jobs with different markets/messages/products/audien... CANNOT LOOK THE SAME
fuck trends and fuck marketing bullshit, works should be based on the idea and the concept, not the look thats popular.
