in their dvd promo, is the sky blue? think of sunsets/rises. reds. purples. there's a whole nother "monochromatic" scheme there...
usually in this case i do something along the lines of what they are thinking they want, then do one version of what you as a designer recommend. and make sure your words back it up.
i just hope my circumstances of late don't happen..."hey, we like elements from both..". argh!
