  woodyBatts - I can't help but laugh at your name since I just got home from the store where I purchased myself a Louisville Slugger. I agree with learning to fight. Been wanting to actually start studying some form of martial arts. Just not sure which one.

  Anyway, I'm not against guns. In fact in a couple of weeks my wife and I are going to the range so she can learn to shoot. I just don't want one in the house.

  And sublocked - I don't give a shit if you buy that or not. I have the right to own a gun, just as I have the right to not own one. I don't have anything against anyone that chooses to own a gun and to teach their kids to shoot and respect it. I just don't want one.
