    My Sigma (DP1 — not recommended!) broke down last week so just got myself a refurb Sony NEX3 on eBay & a 2nd hand Olympus lens. Altogether just around £250 and it's an awesome camera for the size.

    Didn't find interface that bad akshully — & havent even downloaded the new firmware yet.

    Only deal-breaker for some is no autofocus. Personally I'm enjoying the old skool manual focus way.

    Only mention this as another example of possible lower budget (but good quality) set-up.

    • cool man, post some pics. Nex series are nice, good high iso and DOF, but kit lenses arent great.Hombre_Lobo
    • Yeah the epm1 is oly's answer to the gf3. So like you say, it doesn't encroach on xz-r territory.Hombre_Lobo
