^ha, I'm touched you thought of me upon hearing the news!
Is it kinda cool, but as its a more p&s orientated camera it lacks the mode dial of the gf1 and sacrifices some buttons.
that and a pancake lens does make a killer portable fixed lens set up. But with the standard kit lens 14-42mm, it would feel quite unbalanced. Im happy with the size of my gf1, it becomes troublesome in terms of ergonomics if you get much smaller (for me).
I am excited about the g3 though, high iso jpegs as good as a 600d / t3i! Awesome.
