Because car companies say they have "one" of the fastest cars, or use opinionated words like "best" or "affordable". If a car company said it has THE fastest car in the WORLD, they would be called on their claim and asked to show proof. That's not an opinion-based comment. When a coffee company says it has the "best" coffee, that's based on opinion. Apple was stating a fact, and when asked to show proof they couldn't justify their claim. It's not about PC vs. Mac, it's about false advertising.
