I've had one for like 15 years now. It seems like when I get really drunk it flares up randomly for a few days. I'll soak in the tub that night, and it goes away with a day or two, or at least subsides a bit. I just don't get enough PTO in this shitty workforce to take time off and get the million things wrong with me taken care of.
