i'm not a designer, but here's my take:
if you're good: microsoft. they are in desperate need of good ui designers, and you can be known as the one who helped them innovate in that area
if you're decent, but learning: apple. learn from the 'best'.
if you suck: google. skills don't matter here. function over form to infinity. you're just helping them meet their department quota. good job.
