  Despite the enormous download size of issues, I really like Wired's iPad app. Especially now that I can subscribe. Paying for single issues was thoroughly daft, although having designed a digital magazine myself, I know that's 100% Apple. Nevertheless, publishers should've deferred their digital magazine launches until Apple finally made subscriptions possible, rather than jumping the gun and tarnishing their reputations in the process.
