I got my iPad for working with Ableton Live.
TouchAble

(Nicer design that TouchAble but less features)KapturePad

(This is just genius! "Kapture the moment")For creating your own Midi Controller Surfaces

This app is MUCH better than the more widely known TouchOSC. Why? because you create the controller layouts on your iPad, not on your computer and have to mess about with sync etc.For Djing ....
I've looked at and played with all the best ones and the one I reckon is best is Djay by Algoriddim
http://www.algoriddim.com/djay-i…Auto BPM, good cutting and scratching ability, great fun and VERY stable. Theyve got GREAT support on their forums and they take feature requests seriously and listen to their users.
The only thing this app lacks over other DJ apps is effects but it's not the end of the world. I use a Korg Mini Kaoss Pad alongside the iPad anyway. So confident in this app that i'm about to use it for the first time this weekend djing at Music Festival. Fingers crossed for no crashes!
- touchosc.. touchAble is nice, but too limited in its scope
autoflavour - ... always improving though, thats the great thing about apps :)microkorg
