i worked for someone like that. once went as far as to really badmouth me infront of a client concerning a project i had messed up. it was a project that i had never even touched - one that the boss had tried to do alone. he didnt know i was around the corner and en earshot (not deaf then). wasnt long after that that i resigned. now, he's doing the same stuff to a friend of mine who's taken over that same position. when i started there, he had about 20 employees. now, he's down to about 6 and struggling to keep afloat (according to a former coworker). been in business for 25 years. sad.
