  White board laminate sucks. If the marker stays on it for more than a day or two it starts to set in very rapidly, especially if there's sunlight hitting it.

  On the other hand, there is whiteboard paint out there which is very very cool stuff. Best of all, if you get any burn-in from super prolonged setting in of marker ink, you just paint over it.

  I too much prefer the blackboard.

  • i've found the opposite. just re-made the ones for a university agriculture center (on an outside barn wall), lasted 5 yearsbjladams
