I see......
The oddball problem of CSS is that you read the specs, you write code according to the specs... and.... it looks like shit in some browsers.... so you ask a question and all the people who have already figured it out may already be tired of the same questions, so you're surrounded by people who don't know either.... argh!
The "box model" in IE is a major issue....
but in a way, I think a number of smart tutorials are the best way to learn HTML/CSS, s m a s h i n g m a g a z i n e .com has some, as does sitepoint's PDF's.... some are even worth the $20
If anyone can post their favorite short simple and plain tutorial links that may help too!
