the first i enjoyed and i heard this was a "shot for shot remake" as criticism, but i figured i've seen other movies like that and laughed.
but man, this is when a director gets it in his head that all the bad things about the first movie were actually good (overdrawn, bay-esque pans around moving vehicles, violence over slapstick). this was like, half an hour too long and took way too much time getting set up. the female characters were pushovers and the guys were just assholes with no redeeming value.
galifinakis was the only good part of this.
