Good on him - I bet heaps of people wouldn't eat meat or would think twice if they had to slaughter an animal themselves. There would be much less wastage as people would be more aware of taking that life - not just picking up a tray of steak from the supermarket - but giving real thought and respect that the living being that is dying for your life and not wasting that.
