  I guess, when I consider a film as "the worst film ever," it meets more than just the criteria of being a shitty movie. It also must pose the questions
  "who thought this was a good idea?"
  "why did actors take these roles?"
  "how could anyone spend a year of their life making this?"

  sequels are mostly about money.
  dreamcatcher seems more about vindicating King than total revenue.

  if this was a true adaptation of the novel, then Stephen, stop writing RIGHT NOW.
