why do you need a 'tag style' anyway? i mean if your not going to jack some font and use it (which is good because 'graffiti' fonts are all bullshit) and you cant write yourself, then why did you choose to do it with a 'hip hop street feel' ?
maybe hand the project over to a writer or work with a writer before deciding that your going to rip off writer culture.im just kinda sick of writer culture being exploited and diluted because of things like 'graffiti' fonts and designers trying to emulate graffiti writers, because in the end it looks half assed.
if your not an architect you wouldnt build a house? if your not a writer (i think?) why would you try to write? it only makes you, the design and the client look bad.
i dont mean to be al high and mighty, im just sick of the trendyness that is enveloping something i have worked hard at for a very long time.
