    the "system" is the only thing setting value to anything, the inflation you mention is a direct result of the greed projecting the need for more.

    Money is nothing more than a promise from one individual to another during a barter.

    If said "system" collapses, man will have no problem bartering again and assigning a value to whatever goods need traded.

    currently:
    bread = $1.99 / grocery store

    without "system":
    wheat = help harvest / farmer

    The land robbing that occurred is what hurt man most i believe, nature was taken from others making it illegal to hunt/gather ones own means, allowing one to profit while another starved.

    If we lose those rules, mankind has no problem crossing these imaginary lines again. It is after all a planet of free willed bio-organisms.
