Have a holiday in Vietnam, Thailand or Hong Kong, enjoy yourself at the same time as getting tailored suits made for you at around $300 a pop. If you go to the right places in Thailand you get to drink weed milkshakes or Tiger beers while your suits are being made...
One place I went to (at 3pm), I told the guy I was leaving at midday the next day, I had a suit and 3 tailored shirts delivered to my hotel by 9.30am, totalling about $320. Absolutely immaculate, tailored to fit, 2 button, single-breast, flat front pants, shirts and ties made from patterns of your choosing, and a sexy inner lining of any silk colour you want. The last 3 suits I got the same way in Hong Kong lasted me at my job for about 2 years.
If you cut loose and decide on Hong Kong let me know, my brother in law and I have used the same guy for the last 5 years, this tiny little dude called Mr Tang. He will come to your hotel room/apartment and measure you up, come back for fitting adjustments, and then deliver your suits. He is the man.
