It's a fad
1. Lots of short term exposure due to the controversy
2. Long term brand erosion through lack of strategy led design
3. Mid and long term bottom line will suffer due to weakened brand recognition and
4. Companies will return to design with a vengeance, but for some it will be too late, as the chinese brands will have enhanced their brands in the meantime.Wishful thinking? i certainly hope not.
