    "There may just be a real magazine somewhere inside this first issue, but if so the team have done their best to hide it. Unlike previous Carson-designed magazines this one gives no clue to what it is supposed to be about, meaning the chaos of the design has no context. Anyone involved in teaching graphic design in the immediate period after the publication of ’The End of Print’ will recognise the design – sub-standard Carson-esque tribute would be putting it charitably. That’s without beginning to consider the broader change of context eighteen years on."
