  the *only* reason this film has a chance is because Mark DiSalle, who produced both kickboxer and bloodsport, and Robert Mark Kamen who wrote the screenplay for The Karate Kid (1984), are both involved. I think casting is the only other crucial decision that has to be made, but so far, so good.
